Tuesdays With Myrna

Last Tuesday we went to Kenora to visit Ray & Myrna who hadn't seen Teresa in a while due to their two wheeled (motorized, don't be silly!) jaunt through the Black Hills, Big Sky Country & Yellowstone. As we enjoyed a relaxing day the included making Rowdy swim for hours, I realized that day trips to Kenora are tiring. Two lane highways from the Whiteshell on, a 2 1/2 hours drive each way... You know, I hope Ray & Myrna get a new trailer with space for us, so we can stay a night (or better yet, dump Teresa with them for a weekend alone.

They bought Teresa a book about bikers in the Black Hills with their dogs. I found it unrealistic because not a single biker chick was topless!

So in a shoutout to literary minded folks (including my < shh! > librarian sister Pearl) and an abundance of spare time, I make a cover for the post, followed by pictures...

Swimming with grandma. At this beach there wasn't too bad a drop off, and the main beach would have been better. Unfortunately we had to be vigilant about the goose poop.

Back to the trailer.

Thanks for creating a book cover expecially for me. So glad you changed your mind on the "old" and changed it to "old(er)" Ken. As you know - I buy your presents.

So glad you guys were able to make it up - had a great day spending time with Teresa so that we could catch up on all of the new things she started while you (and we) were away. Enjoyed the two of you as well - however, you remain the same from time to time.

FYI - you are always welcome to stay overnight, even in this trailer. It would only be cosy at bedtime when we pull out the hide-a-bed and set up the playpen.

Having a very relaxing week. Talk later,

Luv Dad and Mom (R & M)
