You say it's you birthday......

So Teresa turned 2 on Saturday, and it was a great party. I learned my lesson from her first birthday and everything was more organized and the whole thing went smoothly. A special thanks goes out to Noah, who reminded me to put out the cake:)

So here are some pictures, as I know my audience and you are already sick of my blather.

Teresa and her Grandpa, playing with a balloon.

Yay, a wider variety of Curious George! Thanks Auntie.
Teresa chillin' with her buddy Ben.

Happy Birthday kisses from Rowdy.

She insisted on putting on the dragon mask as soon as she opened it.

Reading with great-Grandpa.

The monkey cake, designed and executed by yours truly (Cara).

The fate of all my hard work. Oh well, it's nice to see it enjoyed.

The morning after, fairy wings and a unicorn, what more could a girl want.

Notes...

Cara is sick of working...  We are busy cleaning & prepping for Teresa's 2nd BDay Saturday...  I have never been excited for Hallowe'en like this before.  Teresa has a monkey costume, I have a Man in Yellow Hat costume on order and I will be bringing her to work...  Ultrasound is scheduled for Oct. 3...  Teresa ate milk in her cereal for the first time...  Teresa knows the whole alphabet by song...  She has been known to 'read' books back to us...  I am taking a course every Wed. night and it is OK, albeit not terribly clear nor exciting...

That is all.

Another doctor's appointment

I couldn't make it this time, but apparently the heartbeat was 145 bpm, and there appears to be only one child, as the early oversized uterus is back to normal sized :(

Besides that, all is well.

It's been a while...

Been busy & sick over the past few weeks.  I decided to finish posting the beach picture because Cara has begun a different post.  Teresa has been OK, but we wish she could be with us all day.  We went up to the lake last weekend and shut it down.  What a sad time, but hey Rowdy loved it because he was allowed on the front beach.  I might also mention that Grant Park is still fun, and the football team is 1-1.  We go to St. Paul's Thursday.

Also a quick shout out to Russ & Meghan who are expecting in April!

Teresa loves playing fish with daddy!
Gangsta T in da' house!
Teresa can walk Rowdy now with his mouth harness on.  It is so cute, and she rarely gets pulled down.
Teresa loves swinging, especially with people her size :)
I am glad to have such a respectable brother in law...
I went to tuck Teresa in late one night and here she was napping away, exactly like this...  Crazy kid!
Look...  Teresa looks happy to be by Tony... Finally!
She is so cute :)
Teresa admiring the greatest birthday gift ever...  She willingly came to say hi to Uncle Tony.  She actually kept going around the cottage this weekend, informing us that the guest room was "Uncle Tony's bed".  Sorry Jackie, but she didn't reference you.
Once again...  I am glad I have such a respectable brother in law

Dance me to the end of love

Happy Anniversary Ken
Dance me to the children
who are asking to be born
Dance me through the curtains
that our kisses have outworn
Raise a tent of shelter now
though every thread is torn
Dance me to the end of love
