Today began with a trip to the Health Science Centre for Cara's ultrasound of hat-trick. The great news is that hattie was co-operative and the visit was quick. All appears well with hattie's heart and nervous system and s/he appears to be 18 weeks into the ball game. This of course was terribly depressing to me as I was hoping for a couple as Cara is showing like she's ready to pop... The tech called hattie "he" but I think that that is meaningless... Now for a couple of pics. I think s/he looks like me :)
So later in the day, Cara, Frances and I went to Teresa's first ballet class. She was super stoked for it, as she has been reading "Miss Lina's Ballerinas" much too often lately, and we upped the excitement by purchasing her a pink body suit, tights and ballet shoes. She matched that with the 'ballet' skirt auntie Jackie bought her a while back and she was ready.
Well, it was quite fun to watch and record. She ran herself to exhaustion that day and had a great bit of fun (even though she wouldn't admit it without threats - a new phase, coupled with the whiny phase it's awesome). It ended in a classic fashion that I hope to remember for years to come. Conveniently I have it on video, but it is still encoding so you'll have to wait a bit for it, and I don't want to give the ending away... In its place I have pictures for you (some of which will look familiar to those that tweet).
