Christmas... Day 3...

We are barely surviving... The amount of food that has been cooked has been ridiculous, and the van has been filled with gifts... No time for pictures or video even though we have lots of it...

Two more days of Christmas then we get to relax(?) in Ottawa...

Today, Teresa fell down the stairs for the first time. Not to worry, not very far and all is well. Ummm... Did you know Christmas is coming? We're busy trying to find gifts for people.

A few pics. A couple of the house & Cara's decoration and two of the day I strapped a diaper on Teresa's head (clean). I figured it was the logical extension because she puts them on her own head ALL the time.

Decorating the House Christmas is Coming!

I came home from walking Rowdy in -25 (no wind though, so it was nice!) weather and Cara had the lights and garland on the tree... I know garland only on the tree? I helped change that and added some to the chandelier.

Dad Visited...

Once again dad was in town but only for a short time. The night in nutshell can be described as Teresa being fussy, followed by some card games that are not particularly memorable, and then me skunking dad! Of course that made me 2-5 on the night, but hey let's focus on the positives. I imported dad's pictures and had decided to post a few highlights.

Once again what happens when you leave a grandparent in charge. True story: I leave for a moment and come back and Teresa is behind a blind trying to stick a plug in a socket all the while dad's back is turned... The kid is too smart some days!

I was clipping Rowdy's paws to try to keep the snow from balling up in them and all of a sudden I see Teresa riding him... Thankfully dad documented this quickly. Rowdy was never once stressed about this either...

Christmas is coming!!

Well, Teresa got to go see Santa and I finally scanned the picture in... As you can see Cara wasn't very clear with Teresa... I think Teresa heard "Satan" and not "Santa" Ah well, at least we know she won't take candy from strangers. The picture lady at the mall was apologetic that this was the best picture. Personally, I think it is great (and wish I could have seen the worse ones :) Also, we went out today and bundled Teresa and bought a $20 Black Spruce from the Optimists. It looks good, but we'll see how it turns out because we are still letting it defrost. Teresa was good with Ray & Myrna's tree Sunday so we have high hopes.

Oh yeah, and LED lights aren't nearly as good as the old fashioned ones. Manitoba Hydro sucks, fooling me with a rebate. Boo!!! Have I mentioned that it was -29 this morning? How did we have two Octobers and go straight to February? I blame Al Gore & Stephane Dion for cooling the planet...
